Hello world

This is me writing again after a very long time. I am so glad to be doing this again! Also l am trying to figure everything out again lol. But anyway,l just can’t leave without sharing about this one thing l learnt yesterday. It’s from 1 Chronicles 14: 8-11. The children of lsrael’s common enemy during this time were the Philistines and they had been afflicting them frequently. When they hear of David’s accession they say they would go to fight him too. The will enemy never rest. He sees or hears of your ascension and he will come after you in the same manner he has been doing before. Sometimes afflicting you in the manner he has done to your people before.
There is a moment when the Philistines fought the Israelites to the point where the lsraelites had to hide in the holes ( 1 Samuel 14:11). now this terrible enemy has come again but this time they are fighting against David and David has a unique response. He first went on to inquire from the Lord and when he went to battle to the battle the Lord as he had promised he went on to deliver them into their hands. When faced with struggles who do we first talk to? Before we tackle the problem do we even pause to see if God is in agreement with it? Perhaps we are fighting battles that we shouldn’t have fought but because we rushed to act without his permission.

The victory was a big one so much that David names the place Baal Perazim( he has broken upon my enemies like the breaking of many waters). When we allow God to take charge and when we bring the problem we are facing before God he will burst before us like many waters. When I hear of the bursting of many waters l quickly think of opening of floodgates. That’s exactly how I imagine God showing up for David on that day.

Dearest reader, I want to invite you to Talk to Jesus about that issue. I want to invite you to ask him for his will in solving it. This l am a witness of this , he will surely faithful and as David witnessed , he will burst like many waters before you.
